PART - 5 STARTED

Hello again Pixel-Team fans. DG TKO157 here with another update for you all.

Now for those of you wondering what's been happening as of late, TROOPERS - Part 5 is now officially underway. Smurfzy and myself have been working hard of the script for this episode and ave almost finished the second half of it.

However, shooting for it will not begin until after the new year, to give all our voice actors and XBL crew a break before the long task of filming capturing and editing. We will be bringing in more voice actors to assist with tthis episode, Comabt Wombat92 will be starring in this episode and some of the people over at HAZAR STUDIOS and TG Productions have been kind enough to help out with voices, so a special thank you goes out to them.

Well post another update once we begin production of Part 5.

PART 4 UNDERWAY

Hello all. DG TKO157 here again with an important update on te TROOPERS series.

You'll be glad to know that work on "TROOPERS - PART 4" has begun. lil conqueror has kindly helped capture all the relative clips and I'm now getting to the rough editing stages. Now with this episode being hugely story driven, the actual length is currently around 35-40 minutes. This is due to the ammount we wished to include in this episode. All this means is you'll glued to your computer screens for over half an hour. Sorry but that's just the way it is.

Now as for the cast of this episode, Hylikus as now become the official voice of Katherine Reed and is now playing the role of K-23's "Communications Link" aboard the Quito.

We've also asked Combat Wombat92, creator of the machinima "THE FIRST SPARTAN", to play the voice of Captain Harris in this episode.

Now both voice actors have sent me their lines, but things are going a little slow on our end as we're currently trying to get a recording session organised for a day where we all or some of us are free.

Still Part 4 needs a lot of work. Well be back with an update soon so see you then.

FIRST BLOG POST

Greetings to all you Pixel-Team fans out there. This is DG TKO157 here with the first post for our new blogspot. I’ll begin with a brief overview of what’s been going on here at Pixel-Team Productions. Now for starts, you’ll all be wondering of our progress with our machinima series, TROOPERS. Well as you’ll probably know, parts 1 and 2 are already uploaded. And you’ll be pleased to know that “TROOPERS – Part 3” has been released but owing to YouTube’s 10 minute and 59 second allowance for uploaded videos and due to the fact that this episode is longer than 10 minutes, we’ve had to split the episode into 2 sections, or as we like to call them “Transmissions”.

We’ve just began work on Part 4 of the series. The Script is nearly finished; we are just awaiting a few extra additions from our Co-Writer. This episode is our largest yet so we hope you’ll not be disappointed as it concludes some of the many questions raised by from the beginning of the series. Now none of this would have been possible without our entire production team and XBL crew, so I’d like to take a moment to issue a special thank you to all of them.

We have added our Bungie.net cards to the blog so you can keep an eye on what we are up to in the World of Halo.

We will be posting a “PIXEL-TEAM” FAQ section at a later date so if you want an answer to something, keep those questions rolling in. And you never know, your question could be featured on the FAQs list.

Secondly, as some may already know I am currently helping a friend, Chrisnepts (aka Tocgow) work on his machinima series Spartan Squad Alpha. In this series 3 Orbital Drop “Spartan” Troopers are left behind after a massive evacuation. The story runs parallel to that of “The Forgotten Spartans”. Darknal, the creator of “TFS” has given special permission to Chrisnepts to create the series and it is under development as we speak. I’m currently assisting in writing the series as well as voicing one of the main characters. This is a series you should definitely check out.

Thirdly, ID pictures. Since this isn’t a one man project, this blog will be featuring topics from every member of Pixel-Team Productions; and to avoid any confusion on who’s talking about what, we’ve come up with ID pictures for each of our members.

The one shown at the beginning of this post is mine.
